The giraffe is so cute

I believe there is a new "pup" on the forum...
A certain white leopard.....

This little fellow was playing with his two sisters/brother on the side of the road at Olifants

Another couple of cubs and pups (what do you call baby hippo?)

Calf, I think

Hippopotamus = water horse...
a foal

But.... male hippo = bull

it was a joke tom....even worse now that I've had to explain myself

The joke was realised and was funny

I'd go for calf. The three hippo stayed on the sand bank for most of an afternoon and it was fantastic to see them together.

Is the foal asleep
Very cute

It was very hot that day Tom and the foal was not asleep but mother and foal were very docile, and posed for us nicely

...I just wish I could remember where it was taken in KNP

Rumuruti...don't stand up to look for the bar of soap

I actually did stand up to take a whole series of pictures, luck each bath tub is far from the next and lots of thick bush in between
Nothing like having a sundowner in a bath tub and seeing Africa pass by
