What is the prize? A bottle of Amarula?

Will try my level best to spot all of these COOL CATS and HOT DOGS with accompanying pics on my trip starting in 2 days time!

I have a friend from the flat land and I also have to explain to him in words of one syllable.

if you see them all that is the prize it self

If you donate a bottle DQ, we can give it, but you had better keep it as my one has just been finished

Can the Caracal be included ?

Tha Caracal deserves a special bonus prize.

Maybe an added bottle of Scotch.

I thought about caracal but it is so rarely seen. I wanted it to be realistic.

Just imagine the excitement if you do see one. Almost like seeing a Roan.

Should it not be 6 cats and 1 dog .. Although I don't know if Hyaena actually classify as a cat as well. Thou they are more closely related to cats then dogs?

I say include the Caracal. I've seen more Caracal then Serval (1 caracal last year and no serval to date)

This could serve for regulars as an alternative challenge to the big 5 mania, which one can realistically see before lunch on a good day.

Any objections, no I thought not, now let's go and look for them!

can't wait till July..
then I'll take a camera with a big lens and go a dog and a cat hunting.

I for one will definately be on a look out, with camera in hand, during july.

This weekends trip I can add Leopard, Lion and Hyaena .. have to develop the photo's still so will post them as soon as I get it ...
