Does anyone know whether the Addo forest cabins have kettles? Or do you have to go to the communal kitchen to make a cup of coffee?

Hi uminnaar and welcome to the forums.
Yes, the forest cabins do have their kettles in the unit so you don't need to go to the kitchen unless you need to cook something on a stove top or in the microwave. All the cutlery, crockery etc is in the unit while the fridge is on the outside deck for convenience. The braai unit is just outside the cabin too.

Thanks so much. I was looking through the pics on the booking site, but they're a bit small, and I couldn't see anything resembling a kettle :-).

Not sure when you are planning to go there Uminnaar and I may be too late, but we have just stayed in one of these and it was well equipped with a kettle and toaster and all the utensils you would need, including a washing up and drying up cloth. Dishwashing liquid was available in the kitchen, which was spotless and well maintained.

I would definitely stay there again.
