This was our bedroom and there was another room just as big and as beautiful and third room with two single beds. All three were with bathrooms on suite (Victorian style) It was an amazing place full of real antiques.

Hi Pumbaa....
I can really recommend MZP. I put the photos on the forum because I want people to see the park because I think it is really underated.
It is a most beautiful park...the views from the tops of the mountains are outstanding

The Park seems a wonderful place to get away from it all. Now only if I can convince the Oom that there are others Parks besides KNP.

We were exacly the same ...only going to Kruger - but then we discovered Addo and Tsitsikamma , which we did in one trip .... and loved every bit.
This trip we did MZP and the Tokaai Forest...which were both beautiful

We love Tsitsikamma. I suppose hubby likes it because he can dive there and at Knysna. Jokes aside, truly magical there. :thumbs_up:

Great pics DB. It is a very under-rated park. You are lucky to live reasonably close to it. Those recently renovated "hikers" cottages look fantastic for a really "away from it all" experience.

Don, I agree that the park is under-rated. I am still going to post about it in the Compliments forum.

Micetta and Pumbaa - if you are ever going to be in the Eastern Cape one day, do try and spend time at MZNP. It really is peaceful and beautiful.

This will be out first vissit to other SANPARKS than Kruger.
Can't wait to see the Karoo NP have read and seen so much that we have to go and investigate it along with all the other.
